Mission Statement and Company Philosophy:

The information below was primarily written for the Realtors and staff at Halifax Area Properties. However, we included it on our website to provide potential customers with our corporate philosophy as it relates to the way we handle our real estate business.

Mission Statement:

We are servants to our customers. Without them we cannot survive. In order to continue and prosper in the business of Real Estate, we will work diligently to provide comprehensive, conscientious service in a timely and professional manner. We will achieve these results by adhering to our company philosophy and core beliefs.

Company Philosophy:

In order to survive we must maintain or exceed the standard that we establish and promise to execute. In order to grow we must continue to learn. In order to prosper we must provide value to those we serve. None of these can be accomplished without the other.

Accountability: Sometimes even the most competent professionals make mistakes. We understand this fact. Our customers must be happy with the services we provide or we forfeit our right to call them our customers. If a mistake is made, immediate acknowledgement and reconciliation is expected.

Belief: What we think, say and do comes from the basis of our beliefs and therefore affects our present, future and those who are around us. We cannot change the past, only learn from our mistakes, make corrections and avoid repeating those activities that have since been determined to be mistakes.

Cooperation: An organization can be great when all members work together for a common goal. It can be only mediocre when some choose their own direction. Once the company goals are established, all members of the company should work together to achieve those goals. Common courtesy, mutual respect and lending a hand for each other will bring harmony and wealth. We expect cooperation from our sales staff and employees.

Growth: Life is a learning process. Not only does continuing education helps us learn the latest techniques which enable performance improvement in business and life but, it is required for the maintenance of our Florida Real Estate license and is necessary to excel in our professional and personal development.

Integrity: No other single attribute of a person or a business can have such an impact on success or failure. Our word is our bond and we will be judged according to our perceived honesty and sincerity in all of our actions. Do the right thing always. There is no place in our organization for questionable behavior.

Leadership: To possess and reflect the positive, moral character of those who accomplish what they have committed to do until success has been achieved. We will conduct our business in such a way that is inspirational to those with whom we interact.

Perspective: Life is more than work. Time to rest and reflect is an important part of success. Life balance is a goal worthy of achieving.

Professional Ethics: The Code of Ethics of the National Association of REALTORS® is a guide for our daily business operations. The laws of this state are clear as to our obligations to our customers. Our employees and sales staff must observe the law and abide by the Code of Ethics.

Service: We must always remember, that we are servants to those with whom we are blessed to work, where our business comes from and who created every opportunity we have. We are paid not for our time but our service. When correctly performed, the services we provide are of benefit and value to our customers. Our Real Estate services provide the vehicle for the achievement of their goals with minimum frustration and anxiety in addition to the maximization of their investment of time and money. If we expect to be paid well, we must provide the highest level of service available. Our customers have a right to expect outstanding service.

Work: If we don’t work, we don’t eat. No organization can grow and prosper unless each member of the team puts forth their best effort on a consistent basis. There is a difference between working hard and working smart. Most often, the latter is preferred and provides the most beneficial outcome. When you do more than you’re paid for eventually you’ll be paid for more than you do.
